The maritime Background of the Manufacturer

Since 1980 Mr. Joerg Uter has been engaged with the subject of maritime matters, ships and the collecting of ship model miniatures at the 1:1250 scale. He successfully completed a period of apprenticeship with a yacht and boat commissioning firm. Then he spent several years with two well-known model builders of this scale.

• 1989 Start of the production of the ARGOS series
• 1994 Move of the production facilitiy to Dahlenburg
• 1996 Specialization to modern fighting ship with strong emphasis for ships of the US Navy.
